I am not going to say much except to direct your attention to the fact that
RootsTech 2023 is LIVE TODAY through Saturday!
Of course most of the content will be available on-demand for viewing at your leisure during the next year.
But if you can spare a few minutes at all in the next 3 days, I’d encourage you to take two quick actions:
#1 Check out the Main Stage. Whenever you go online, there will be someone there presenting something awesome. Catching the energy of the “LIVE” experience may just be the nudge you need to take a deeper dive!
#2 Find out how you are related to one of the featured Rootstech speakers – or other famous people here!
If you have young people like children, grandchildren or nieces or nephews you wish would catch the family history bug, share the Famous Relatives link out with them and let them explore! My kids raced each other in clicking on famous people and calling out their discoveries:
“What? I’m related to Jimmer AND Babe Ruth??” called out my sports fanatic.
“I’m George Washington’s cousin!” my youngest exclaimed.
“How come it shows that I’m related to Wilbur Wright but not Orville Wright?” came a thoughtful question from a teen.
I LOVE how this got the wheels turning in their brain and their hearts turning to their family 🙂
(And bytheway, with a couple more clicks, my teen figured out the Wilbur and Orville Wright thing and yes, he’s related to both :D)
